The International Biennial of Contemporary Art “Aluminium” being held in Baku every two years since 2003 has been already a tradition and attracts the artists, art critics and curators from all over the world to Azerbaijan.

The Biennial represents both the traditional and the contemporary art of the country to the experts of international authority and has given a creative impetus to the artists, both in Azerbaijan and abroad.

In her installation featuring herself photographed in front of a surface created and populated with brand logos, the artist somewhat criticizes the system by putting herself in the shoes of common people....
